Thomas "Jody" Bacot is an accomplished business development and sales professional.
Prior to heading up business development with Opus #1, Mr. Bacot had 5 successful years working with TAG, a Dallas-based telecommunications procurement, contract negotiations and vendor management services firm assisting clients in maximizing the value of their telecommunications investments.
Prior to his current activities, Mr. Bacot had a distinguished career of 18 years with MCI joining the company in October 1988. While at MCI, he held a variety of sales and sales management positions. In his last 7 years with the company, Mr. Bacot served as Director for a geographic sales region. In this capacity, he had responsibility for over $200 million in annual revenue and a significant number of MCI's largest customers. During his tenure, Mr. Bacot was responsible for negotiating hundreds of multi-million dollar contracts on behalf of the company. Prior to joining MCI Mr. Bacot worked in Commercial Real Estate in the Dallas Texas with Finely and Associates.
